About the Nissan GT-R R35
Introduced for the 2009 model year in North America, the Nissan GT-R R35 brought the GT-R name into a new generation.
Powered by Nissan's twin-turbocharged VR38DETT V6 and equipped with an advanced all-wheel-drive system, the R35 became internationally recognized for delivering extraordinary acceleration and performance.
The GT-R also became an important platform within modern Japanese tuning culture. Its combination of turbocharged power, sophisticated drivetrain technology, and distinctive styling inspired everything from heavily modified street cars to extreme widebody creations.
Today, the R35 remains a favorite among collectors of JDM cars, Nissan performance vehicles, tuner cars, and modern Japanese automotive icons.
Did You Know?
The dramatic styling represented on this model is connected to Japanese tuning company Ben Sopra, whose radically modified Nissan GT-R became well known for its extreme widebody treatment.
ADVAN, meanwhile, is Yokohama's performance-oriented tire and wheel brand and has a long association with motorsports and enthusiast vehicles. Its distinctive racing liveries have appeared on numerous competition cars.
Put the two together with Nissan's R35 GT-R and you get something very different from a stock GT-R model: a miniature representing the highly modified side of Japanese tuner culture.
