The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary was introduced in 1988 to celebrate Lamborghini's 25th anniversary. Although it retained the unmistakable wedge-shaped Countach silhouette, the anniversary model received numerous styling and refinement changes and became the final major production version of the legendary supercar.
The original Countach design traces its roots to the early 1970s and became famous for its extremely low profile, dramatic angular bodywork, and upward-opening scissor doors. Those doors became so closely associated with Lamborghini that they remain one of the company's most recognizable design signatures.
The 25th Anniversary edition marked the closing chapter of the Countach's original production era before the model was succeeded by the Lamborghini Diablo.
