Add a bold custom Mustang to your collection with this 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 “Pro Street” 1:24 scale diecast model by M2 Machines.
Finished in an eye-catching pink paint scheme with blue and yellow graphics, this limited-edition Mustang combines one of Ford's most recognizable first-generation fastback designs with aggressive Pro Street styling. Produced in a worldwide edition of only 6,250 pieces, it makes an especially distinctive display model for Mustang, muscle car, and custom-car collectors.
Features:
The 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 came from the earliest generation of the Mustang and helped establish the sporty fastback silhouette that would become one of the most recognizable shapes in American automotive history.
Ford introduced the Mustang in April 1964, creating enormous consumer interest and helping popularize the category that became known as the pony car. Buyers could choose from several body styles, including the hardtop, convertible, and the dramatically styled fastback.
The 2+2 designation referred to the fastback's seating arrangement, with two front seats and a rear seating area. Its sloping roofline gave the Mustang a much more performance-oriented appearance and provided the foundation for some of the most famous racing and high-performance Mustangs of the era.
Pro Street styling draws inspiration from drag racing while creating a vehicle that retains the appearance of a street-driven custom car. Wide rear tires, aggressive stance, modified engines, and attention-grabbing paint schemes became hallmarks of the movement.
This M2 Machines interpretation combines that custom-car tradition with an unusual pink, blue, and yellow color scheme, while its 6,250-piece worldwide production run adds another element of interest for diecast collectors.
