About the Toyota Soarer

The Toyota Soarer was a Japanese grand touring coupe that combined luxury with serious performance potential. Although designed as an upscale GT, various generations of the Soarer became popular with enthusiasts because of their rear-wheel-drive layouts and strong Toyota powertrains.

Outside Japan, the Soarer is closely related to models sold under Toyota's luxury Lexus brand, but the Soarer name itself has developed a particularly strong following among JDM enthusiasts and collectors.
